Grammar	Progress in English 21, Book 3. Gerunds and Verbs as Adjectives, Adverb Phrases, Noun Clauses
Writing	Research Paper: choosing a topic, brainstorming, outlining, and writing an introduction.
Oral Communication	Presentation: Students will give advanced presentations on topics of their own choosing, including presentation aids or exhibits.

Reading	Visions C, graded readers, plus famous speeches
Grammar	Progress in English 21, Book 3. Gerund Clauses, Terms of Experience or Veracity, Expressing Consequences, Modals, Relative Clauses used with Prepositions, Expressing Agreement.
Writing	Research Paper: Writing the body and the conclusion.
Oral Communication	Persuasive Speaking: Students will give speeches focusing on persuading others.

Reading	Visions C, graded readers, plus articles from magazines and newspapers.
Grammar	Progress in English 21, Book 3. Reported Speech, Wish, Knew, Conditionals,
Writing	Research Paper: Editing and rewriting.
Oral Communication	Student-Based Discussion: Students will choose topics and lead discussions on those topics.

Reading	Students will be able to read and understand both short fiction and short non-fiction.
Grammar	Students will be able to effectively use a variety of English idioms and expressions, and will be able to use a variety of complex grammatical structures and forms.
Writing	Students will be able to write a research paper.
Oral Communication	Students will be able to effectively use logic and persuasive techniques in oral communication.
