杭州市で開催されるG20の影響で、開催前日になって突然WCH8の会場が変更になりました。こんなことってあるのですね。予定されていた会場から自動車で一時間も離れた場所です。ホテルも急きょ変更を余儀なくされました。
事前に予約したホテルはキャンセルできなくて、全額返金はありませんでしたが、金銭的な負担なく、主催者が用意していただいたホテルに宿泊することになりました。

Dear Friends and Colleagues.
Following high level government instructions beyond our control, the WCH8 has been moved to the Legend Hotel in Fu Chun Jiang just outside Hangzhou.
We apologize for the inconvenience associated with this however, please be assured that Prof Xiang Ji is doing everything he can to make this transition as smooth as possible.
The good news is that we are now in a better hotel in a much nicer smaller city. We are beside a large river with large forested areas all around.
Please be assured that you will have a great time in the new location, and a wonderful WCH experience.
